What I'm Reading Now: The Unbearable Lightness of Being by Milan Kundera. It’s one of those reads that go by quickly when you pick it up…the trouble is actually picking it up. It’s a philosophical work masquerading as a novel, which I don’t quite know how to feel about yet.

What I'm Reading Now: Scarlet by Marissa Meyer. I enjoyed Cinder last year, but I have to say, I’m liking Scarlet’s story even more. She has even more spunk than Cinder, and Wolf is a lot more intriguing (and questionable!) than Kai.

What I'm Reading Now: The Winter Sea by Susanna Kearsley. Although I’m not usually into books with a time-traveling theme (after reading a few of Diana Gabaldon’s books, I thought I was done), the writing is atmospheric and moody, reminding me a bit of Daphne DuMaurier.
